Deep

Throw it all away
Let's lose ourselves
'Cause there's no one left for us to blame
Its a shame we're all dying
And do you think you deserve your freedom

How could you send us all far away from home
When you know damn well that this is all
I would still lay down my life for you

And do you think you deserve your freedom
No I don't think you do

There's no justice in the world

There's no justice in the world

And there never was

Inspired III

I don't do sweet. Well, not always
I want to put it to an end
But our hearts aren't the same
I thought I can live without you
without ever seeing your name
But my heart whispers never
it keeps me going on
So may I feel like this forever
and may my heart never be torn
Love is hard to comprehend
it has many twists and turns
To love is to care is to understand
to heal my pains and burns
You have said it before so may I quote you
when you said you really do care
So for this, this question I'll ask you
that feeling you have, is it true for us to share?

The Old Man's Final Moments

I write this now
Under the sunshine bright skies
The shade of a cedar tree
casting a cooling shadow
over me
As pen touches paper

I remember
Nostalgia of past summers
A movie played in rewind
Full of colour and life
Romance and Soul
I've been there once

If only I could
Be a child again
Feel every blade of grass
Tickle my feet
As I run barefoot, full of energy
Until I stop and can run no more

But I am old
Every inch of grace
Stolen by time
My body defeated
As moving is difficult
An everyday chore

Yet my heart is the same
Young and free
Still being able to imagine
uncorrupted dreams
Away from the realities and hardships
People face each day

Maybe not all of us live life my way
As who is to be the adult
If everyone are to be like children
But we should remember
Who we were before who we are
We were all young once

The sun is setting
Wind is dancing through the leaves
A soft waltz of dusk
My time is nearly over now
It is dark
The azan can be heard nearby
As beautiful as ever
Even through these ancient ears

Night is beautiful
Sequin stars glittering
On her beautiful black dress
The Moon is shining, grinning
I smile back
and take my last breath

Gamer

Just watched Gamer (starring Gerrard Butler)

The Movie was great! It's set in the future where human beings are used as the characters in the game. There are 2 games in the movie 'Society' and 'Slayer'. Gerrard's character, Kable @ John Tillman, is a convict who gets forced into the game 'Slayer' which is a war game that puts real humans into a warzone, each one controlled by a gamer...

Full of conspiracy and very dark!

The Lost Symbol

The new novel by the great Dan Brown is finally out! Check this sneak peek:

Langdon is a professor of "symbology." (Brown says there's no such academic field. "The closest is symbiotics.") He becomes entangled in a search for a madman who has kidnapped Langdon's mentor, Peter Solomon, director of the Smithsonian Institution.

The madman offers clues, starting with Solomon's severed hand, left on the floor of the Capitol Rotunda. His fingertips, tattooed with Masonic symbols, point up to the ceiling and an actual 1865 painting of George Washington as a god.

Washington, like most of the Founding Fathers, was a member of the Freemasons, the secretive and mysterious fraternal order.

Citing national security, the CIA gets involved for reasons that aren't explained until Chapter 117.

More clues are found throughout Washington, including Melencolia I, a 1514 engraving by Albrecht Dürer in the National Gallery. As Langdon explains, "The symbolism in Melencolia I is so complex it makes Leonardo da Vinci look overt."

Nearly over

It's nearly over! The 30 day countdown has reduced to 10, and raya is nearly upon us!

These last 10 days are perfect for us to increase our ibadah to Allah, and hopefully our berkah will increase...

Asides that, remember that the long awaited raya festival is so very near...
lemang, ketupat, duit raya, baju melayu....
How can one wait?

But remember the true spirit of the raya celebrations....

Try not to get carried away!!!

Inspired

1

Men of war,
You live by the sword,
Die by the sword,
The battlefield your birthplace,
and your deathbead,
Your hands be wet with blood of others,
who dare step in your path.

You strike fear into your enemies,
Heartless, without emotion,
You gave your life,
To take the lives of others,
Leaving behind everything in your past,
You are a soldier, not you anymore.

Past memories,
Burnt into ashes,
Friends, Family
Mean nothing,
Love, Friendship,
Mean nothing.

The day you finally take your final breath,
Nothing is left of you, but a rotting corpse
Nobody remembers you, as you did not remember them,
You are meaningless, a grain of sand in a dessert.
You were a soldier, but not now anymore.

By Muhammad Arsyad Azrai a.k.a. Fatman

note:

this poem is not in anyway an assault against the soldiers of our age. The men and women protecting our country are great people, and shall forever be remembered. I am just inspired by the heartless soldiers of the ancient times, those who gave their lives for only violence and war...

Exams

As a student, I am anti-exams. That means I hate exams. Badly. Why can't people realize that creativity is more important than what we learn in books? Even Albert Einstein believed that! But nooooo...

There I was, at my table, tired, dizzy, confused, and I didn't what the hell the answer to no. 15 was. Nor did I know the answers to the other questions, mind you. This is pointless... Who remembers any of this stuff anyway!!? Ask me any history question after I've graduated and I wouldn't be able to answer even if my life depended on it.

I bang my head on the desk, break my pencil and hope that physics question I answered be damned for eternity.

As a student, I am anti-exams. Period.

But it wasn't all bad. I got no.20 in my form after all...

Happy No. 52

Eventhough it's a little late, but I have to take this chance to say Happy Birthday Malaysia!!!

Look where we are now. People say never look into the past, but for me the past is where we learn. We strive as who we are everyday so that the people after us will remember our deeds and our battles. We make mistakes and record them in history so that our future generation will not repeat the same mistakes.

Forgetting the past is forgetting who we are. The battles fought by our nation's many heroes define who we are as a nation, our wishes and how we see the world. Malaysians are peaceful people, yet we are not afraid of fighting for our rights when trouble shows its ugly face. We have won many battles, and proved our strength and unity as one nation, headed towards a goal that before seemed way out of reach.

But that was the past, and things are not what they used to be. Change is the law of life, yet it remains a delicate subject. Change through my eyes may be different through another man's eyes. Every decision in life we make has its pros and cons, and it's how we look at each and every one of them defines how we live life everyday.

Subject in hand, Malaysia isn't what it was before. Cultural toleration has turned into racism, democracy into money politics, and peace into tension. I may be too young to say too much, but I'm not blind. We are starting to break apart, fighting amongst each other for power and ringgit, forgetting why we agreed to live together in the first place.
How did we come to this, Malaysia?

But that doesn't mean that I don't love being Malaysian, as it is who I am and I don't want to be anyone else. We have been in tighter situations before, and you know what? I believe we're going to get through this together, for now and forever. Merdeka!

1Malaysia!!!!
